Re: Re: Start of swing

Can anybody imagne the body as having a horizontal pivot which might be in the sternum area? I call this the swing center as it represents the center around which the swing moves at just about a right angle. It needs to stay still...as all centers do. As it stays still relative to the swing, it also stays still relative to the ground as the lower body drives forward. This establishes a flucrum then and a lot of leverage...torque I reckon. It would then supply the linear movement(the knees going forward from a birds eye yiew)by virtue of using a rotary device. Does that make sense to anyone. It's fairly accepted in modern golf. The move also places the spine tilted more away from the pitcher which I reckon is prudent.
