Jack,

Are you saying that when a batter continually hits baseballs foul to the right side AND fouls to the left side, BOTH conditions are due more to linear mechanics than timing?

Don't rotational hitters hit foul balls, as well?

Are you saying that when rotational hitters hit the ball foul, it is due more to timing than mechanics?

Is there ANYONE in professional baseball that you would consider to be a linear hitter?
